At Casa Nana, making locally is part of how we design. Much of what you'll find here was created in Costa Rica. From the furniture crafted in our on-site Carpinteria to restored antique pieces, locally sourced materials and ceramics made by Indigenous artisans. Through our Neo Collective, we work with makers across the country to create spaces and objects that reflect the creativity, craftsmanship and character of Costa Rica.
We design, build and source locally whenever possible, celebrating Costa Rican craftsmanship.
From our on-site carpinteria to locally sourced wood, stone, fibers and clay, we create close to home.
We restore antique pieces, give materials a second life and value longevity over replacement.
Through the Neo Collective, we exchange skills, ideas, and creative processes with our community, local craftsmen and guests.
We design in conversation with the surrounding landscape, protecting the flora, fauna, and ecosystems that make this place possible.

From handcrafted pottery to carved wooden pieces, our makers create objects rooted in this place. Each piece tells the story of the materials, the hands and the land it came from. The shop has opened its doors alongside Casa Nana.
